GOOD NEWS! I ended up with agents at two NYC literary agencies wanting to see my book! In the publishing world and the realm of pitch wars, that’s the equivalent of putting on the One Ring and getting the Eye of Mordor’s attention.
Self-love is a life-long journey, as we are challenged to accept our changing bodies and capabilities. The amount of pressure put on us to remain unchanging is cruel in its impossibility. And compliments tying age to beauty makes that self-love even harder.
There are plenty of paths leading to the same destination of a finished book that’s worth sharing with the world. The important thing is you keep walking the path, you keep getting those words down until it’s done.
Unbelievable things happen all the time. You may call it coincidence. I see these little miracles as something more.
